"I spent four years, I working in the NHS as a web developer.
My main focus was accessibility and usability:
making websites that can be accessed by everyone and are intuitive to users.
During my time with the NHS, I advised both British Telecom and the National Programme for Information Technology (NPfIT) on how to develop websites in accordance to the Disability Discrimination Act (1999).
I now specialise in creating a web presence for smaller companies, whilst incorporating the good practice and standards in use at some of the busiest websites in the UK.
